Buying Original Abstract Art - A Guide

Are you new to buying art online?

 Buying art online deos not have to be challenging. I have written this guide to help you if you are new to online art galleries.

The first step is to identify a style that you like. You can view my Art archives to see all of my work in one place. Next, define your own style. What colours do you have and want to match? Set your budget. I offer originals, commissions and prints, something to suit all budgets.

I realise that choosing an artwork based on a tiny image online can be daunting. There will be plenty of questions running through your mind, such as:

Are the colours accurate?

I take high quality images and make every effort to represent my paintings in their true light. If you have any questions, just get in touch. Read my colour guide

Is the scale accurate?

I show you an image of each painting hung above a sofa and to scale. This is particular helpful for oversized artworks and panoramic art. Read my scale guide

What If it does not suit my space when I receive it, or I change my mind?

All valid questions. However, there really is no need to be anxious. I do my utmost to make the choosing and buying experience as easy as possible and more importantly, totally risk free. Read my Returns policy

I have a lot of artworks on offer from prints and phone cases to original paintings. I understand that it can be a bit daunting to know exactly where to start looking through my galleries and store. 

Which artworks are ready to ship?

If you want a piece of artwork that is 'in stock' and ready to ship, have a look at 'New Artworks' This gallery shows all of my current works that are available for immediate shipping. Delivery can be super speedy. If you are UK based, I can arrange next day delivery. All other countries, delivery usually takes 2-3 days. Payment and delivery information. 

How do I view art by theme?

If you are only interested in one artwork theme, for example: Floral. My gallery is set up in collections to make it easier to browse. Simply click on the 'Flowers & Trees' category within my shop to view only flower themed paintings. Other categories are, Abstract, Landscapes, Seascapes, Large art, New Art, Showcase, Sale Art, Under £300, 

How do I just browse?

If you have a spare few minutes to browse through my abstract art for sale, have a look at  'My Art Archive'. If you have not seen the 'one' and have time for a further browse, view the  page. 

How would a piece look in my room?

If you would like to see how an artwork would look in your space, email me a picture of your room and I'll create a visual of the artwork insitu for you to picture how it would look in your room.

How do I commission a painting?

You like my style and you want to commission something bespoke.

The best place to start is in 'My Art Archive' have a scroll through past and present paintings for some inspiration. If you don't have time to browse, just email me with details on the style you like and I can search through all my images and send you images you may be interested in. You would like to order a similar artwork to a 'Sold' painting.

You have seen a painting that you love and it has already sold. I can paint to order many of my paintings as a new commission. The artwork would be the same in terms of texture style and colour, but due to it being hand painted it would have characteristics of its own and be an original in its own right. Work like this would usually take me about 2-4 weeks. It is worth bearing in mind that many of the styles can be adapted to suit your colour scheme and size requirements too.
